Yoga Therapy for Love

May sharing these feelings of rebirth be of some use, or at the very least stir some feelings for you to ponder. The other night before a deep slumber, I simply asked for my dreams to “show me something”. Well, ask and you shall receive! The dream that night was vivid, and in a moment of fear I awoke to consciously process it. In processing those naked, raw and dark images, it brought up emotions related to both death and rebirth. I shed a few quiet tears, and it was through those fleeting emotions of recall and writing, that I could say I am ready to hold space and guide others (again). Although I do not always FEEL ready, the lessons learned from sad and tragic events in my life have me holding a bright light that will guide me through any darkness. And the beauty of it is, that I enjoy sharing that light and seeing it glow in others! Years ago, my spiritual teacher Jeffrey Armstrong suggested that I was a spiritual leader. It scared me! It still scares me a bit from time to time, but this world needs us all to be awake for the sake of encouraging higher consciousness. That is to say, we all need to do our part to promote an elevated way of being. It is OUR responsibility. We all have the light and ability to share it.

Let’s care for the dark, forgotten and hidden aspects of ourselves, and then trust everything is going to be all right and unfold for the higher good of all. It is a journey to purify the mind and body, awaken what is sleeping, nurture what is broken, and walk in the face of any doubts or fears.

Let the journey begin. Feel the love and be the light.

Flowering Heart Yoga Flow

“The lotus is the most beautiful flower, whose petals open one by one. But it will only grow in the mud. In order to grow and gain wisdom, first you must have the mud — the obstacles of life and its suffering. The mud speaks of the common ground that humans share, no matter what our stations in life. Whether we have it all or we have nothing, we are all faced with the same obstacles: sadness, loss, illness, dying and death. If we are to strive as human beings to gain more wisdom, more kindness and more compassion, we must have the intention to grow as a lotus and open each petal one by one. ”  – Goldie Hawn
